 Good product, deceiving picture June 27, 2010

I love Lock and Lock containers and I am building up quite a collection. This is Lock and Lock quality, however, it is smaller/narrower than the picture made it look. When I first opened the package, I didn't even know it was what I'd ordered. The volume of the flour I needed to store in it was beyond its capacity, but, I found another use for it. Pay closer attention to dimensions than I did and don't trust the picture!

What more can be said about Lock & Lock beyond that it is excellent? It is about all we use for kitchen storage anymore.

I have 2 of these for storing sugar, cake flour, or cornmeal. They seal great and I can open them one handed.
The most important thing for me was that they fit the contents of a 5 lb bag of sugar perfectly. (There is plenty of room to spare with a small 1.5 lb cornmeal bag.)
Note that they store the contents of a bag of sugar without much room to spare. So you have to use up the contents before you can refill. (This is how I prefer it because I like to wipe it out before refilling anyway.)
