Product Description The cast iron, tinned Victoria tortilla press is perfect for making your favorite corn or flour tortillas. It is heavy and sturdy allowing for easy handling when pressing. The long pressing handle is re-enforced at the base. The unique design allows for various thicknesses of tortillas. Wash with warm soapy water.

broke on 1st try 3rd totilla July 23, 2010 william henderson (md) Cast iron handle broke trying to get the 1/8" thickness. Waited to long to try it and the 30 days ran out.
great product June 25, 2010 discode (Texas) This works really well for flour and corn tortillas. It's quite heavy duty and has a good sturdy feel to it. I've made flour and corn tortillas and both have turned out very well. I do use plastic wrap to prevent sticking and for easier clean up, but otherwise I just put a ball on it and press down as hard as you want. It's a great money saver so far as well.
Works and inexpensive May 21, 2010 beckygardens (New Orleans) Having had two electric versions that supposedly pressed and cooked I didn't like I decided to go low tech. This tortilla press works fine for me. Upon arrival it was a bit oily but that washed right off. So far I've only made tortillas, but I want to try some naan or flat breads also.
Absolutely love it! May 9, 2010 Linda M. Tuininga 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The tortilla press is excellent. I have used it twice and I created my own recipe for corn tortillas that is wonderful. I use the recipe on the bag of Maseca, but instead of just adding water I puree a small can of creamed corn with a little water, salt, and chili powder and add it to the masa. The tortillas are fabulous, and the press works perfectly. I made 3 dozen tortillas in about 45 minutes, from starting the dough to cooked and warming in my new tortilla warmer. I absolutely love it.
