Product Description Just like the ones Grandma and Mom used to use in the days before upscale anodized products and throwaway tin foil pans. Graniteware has roasted turkeys and pot roasts and cooked casseroles for generations and along with its nostalgic appeal it also offers versatility, durability, efficiency, and affordability. The convenience of a cover allows you to avoid fussing with foil tents.

Best value, arrives quickly February 6, 2010 Lee Moore (Texas) I was surprised at how quickly this item arrived. The box did not seem like it could hold 18 inches, but cleverly, the roaster was catty-corner in the box and fit just fine! This was purchased for my daughter, who had thoroughly researched roasters, and I was pleased to see that she found it to be highly rated for its utility as well as its price, since I have been using one myself for years.
Good value for the money.... February 5, 2010 B. Rose Was hesitant to purchase, based on some of the other reviews. But am pleased with the quality. Note that the price at local hardware store is about $6 more for same item. Be sure & measure inside of stove first.
great versatile pot February 2, 2010 Vicki Gilsinger (Peru, IN) my old one got a pinhole spot in it...as i was washing the new one..I grinned and thought about that old pan and how it had served me well over the years ...I make my turkey in it at Thanksgiving, my pot roast every other Sunday, my kielbasa, potatoes, green beans..and every other "big" meals in it...on the stove top or in the oven no wonder that my old pot sprung a leak...grin...
this is a great pot for those bigger than big meals and I recommend it highly...great value for price...shipping fast and exactly what I wanted
Great roaster but cheaper at Target January 30, 2010 Debbie Mattar (Weslaco, Tx) I've had the same roaster over 25 years....great for pot roast, etc., etc. Easy clean....dishwashes great. Mine developed a small hole, probably just from wear and tear. I patched with duct tape for awhile (yes....duct tape!!). Believe it or not, this worked for a couple of months...but I finally decided to search for another one. I expected it to be obselete and hard to find, but easily found this one on Amazon and ordered immediately. Happy girl, right??? Until I was in Target last week and my husband saw the exact same roaster for $11.99... Oh well, it's certainly worth the $20 I paid, but just think how smart I'd feel if I'd found it at Target first.
great product!! January 7, 2010 alli I purchased this product based on other reviews and I am not disappointed at all. It appears a thin material, but I bakes a turkey really well, browns it, and cooks very fast. The price was good too. I was really impressed that my turkey had finished so quickly. I would recommend it.
I am only sorry that it did not come with its own wire rack.
