Richard September 6, 2010 Richard 4 out of 5 as have only had item a few weeks. Nice feel and does the job. Clean up is easy and I like the strainer cover.
Overpriced but functional!! February 5, 2010 Melissa B. (Sacramento, CA) I give it 5-stars because it is a quality heavy duty pan with the a strainer. You can purchase Belgique pans from Macys that are just as heavy duty for half the cost but no strainer cover. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice pan but I only paid the price because I wanted a quality 3 qt. pan with a strainer.
Great every day pot for the money January 27, 2010 William H. Johnson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a limited cook at best but I do use this pot almost every day with good results. I appreciate that it is dish washer safe.
Don't waste your money on Wearever It WARPS. Not Good for GlassTops September 8, 2009 Robert B. Cohen (Sacramento, CA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I buy most of my stuff on Amazon. So whenever I can save other people money and headaches I will do it. There is much better stainless cookware on Amazon than Wearever. I have had two sauce pots for a couple of years and both of them are Warped bad at least 1/8" bowed up in the center. They still look fairly good but if they take forever to heat up, then you are wasting electricity and time.
Great Pan! June 5, 2009 Carol Arendt (Fayetteville, NC USA) I debated getting this pan because of the reviews about the handle getting hot. Well I was cooking pasta tonight and totally forgot to use a hot pad and the handle was not hot at all! I have a glass cook top and I use the right size burner for the pan. As long as you don't have the handle over a heating element or part of one it shouldn't get hot. The pan itself is a nice weight with a thick bottom. If you need to use the lid while cooking you can turn it so the drain holes are closed. While cooking pasta you don't need to use the lid until you want to drain it.
