Amazon.com Review Celebrity chef Rachael Ray gets innovative with shaping for this large sauté pan, with effective and versatile results. Hard-anodized aluminum for durability, the pan heats evenly and quickly, while a nonstick interior helps with food release and cuts down on the fats necessary for cooking. The pan's wide oval shape takes up minimal space when the stovetop is crowded, and the glass lid lets you watch over food without releasing heat or steam. The signature Rachael Ray orange handles have nonslip, heat-resistant silicone grips, and a helper handle on this pot makes draining and carrying much easier. With its 5-quart capacity and accommodating dimensions, the piece is great for everything from sautéing chicken breasts to pan-roasting asparagus. It is also safe in the oven to 400 degrees F, cleans up easily by hand, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. --Emily Bedard

Your Best Value March 2, 2010 J. JACKSON (Small town in Virginia, USA) My wife took a chance to buy slight damaged item. Believe me we do not see any damage and believe this is the best marketing ploy we have ever taken advantage of. WONDERFUL NEW CONDITION. So very well pleased and will buy this way again...
Usefull!! January 23, 2010 Marc A. Mcclure A very usefull pan that takes advantage of the expanded burners of the newer stove tops. The guage of the aluminum could be a little heavier....Other than that, I enjoy the pan.
Fabulous! December 8, 2009 mac, San Diego Such easy cleaning and wonderful use. I didnt realize how much I would appreciate the unique oval shape when fitting so many pans on the stove. Its been my go to pan and I've been so satisfied, I just bought the 10 piece matching set!
Saute' pan @ Amazon.com November 14, 2009 Tom Terriffic (Morgantown, WV) Great pan to own, saw it on TV, bought my wife one, she loves it. Nice price also.
A hands-down winner October 4, 2009 NJGal (New Jersey) I bought this pan a few weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to use until today. I used it to make a beef braised in red wine. Sauteing the beef and then the chopped vegetables was a breeze. I thought that the oblong pan might be a problem with my stove, which his a flat glass top. But it worked out great. The fact that part of the pan is not under the burner was actually a benefit, because I could push the cooked vegetables to the less heated part and thus prevent overcooking. I then put the whole concoction (with the red wine, broth, etc.) covered in the oven for the 3 hours need to braise the meat. The rubber handles, while they still need to be handled with a pot holder, were not scorching hot like metal handles would have bee. This is going to be my new go-to pot for all stove-to-oven cooking.
