This is a great all around pan if you are looking for something larger than a fry pan. Great for larger meals. Not as heavy as regular calphalon which makes it easier to move around.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas (I know, but it really is what she wanted!), and she absolutely loves it. And I love what she cooks in it! The best chicken fried chicken ever. :-) ...Now she wants a second one for when we have company.

This pan has excellent silicone molding on all handles that keep them cool - even when cooking with oil for long periods of time. We had an older Calphalon Saute Pan where the Teflon surface had worn off and it was a nightmare to clean. This non-stick surface is excellent - even burned food doesn't stick. The pan diameter is large enough to use our second-largest diameter glass-surface electric stove burner - so the pan heats quickly (and the burner doesn't continually shut off). I highly recommend this pan.

We were given this as a wedding gift 3+ years ago. Then I left it on the cooker and it slightly burnt the bottom. We continued to use it without problems since (just a little harder to clean). Now we just bought a new one as it is the most used pan we have. AWESOME product.
